On April 1, we launched a website called EB1Shaadi.com, a parody matchmaking site for EB-1 recipients.


It blew up. 2M+ views, 100,000+ website visitors in just three days.


And then we thought: what if we actually did it… for real, for everyone (NOT just EB1 recipients)?


This August, we’re turning a viral idea into a real-world experiment in serendipity. Inside the Unshackled Conference, we’re creating a relaxed, playful space for singles navigating the immigration journey and open to connection beyond LinkedIn.


No green card required.

No “extraordinary ability” needed.

Just show up, and be your best self.
